Public Tours
Many tours leave from the area's hotels and resorts. These are typical with approximate
pricing:

 Island Saona with Speedboat and Catamaran
($60US/person)
After an hour's drive toward the east, you arrive at the artsy town of "Altos de
Chavon". After
a tour of the local area, speedboats will take you down the river. You stop on a sandbank and can
enjoy the Caribbean with Cuba-Libre. Next you continue on to island of Saona to enjoy white beaches
and turquosie waters. Drinks are included throughout the day as is a BBQ at lunch. At about 3PM, you
start back taking a catamaran. You get to enjoy the wind, merengue and more
Cuba-Libre.

 Island Catalina with Glass bottom boats
($62US/person)
You travel east to "La Romana" where you board a Glass bottom
boat. You spend about 50 min.
enjoying the underwater world while the boat takes you to the island of Catalina. At
Catalina, you
can get wet in a paradise for snorkelers. Lunch, drinks, and snorkeling equipment are
included.

 Jeep Safari
($65US/person)
Come and join an 'Adventure of a lifetime". This trip takes you inland well away from the resorts
so you can see plantations of sugar cane, passion fruit, cocoa, coffee, bananas, citrus and taste
them as well. Take a refreshing swim in one of the most spectacular waterfalls on the
island. See how
a typical Dominican family lives. Try your skills at rolling your very own cigar and win a bottle
of rum. All drinks and a typical Dominican meal are included.

 Santo Domingo By Night
($50US/person)
Leave around 6pm to visit Santo Domingo at night. Dance the in the cave disco
"Guacara Taina"
about 120 ft under ground! You will stop at "Faro a Colon", Dinner at a typical Dominican Restaurant "El
Conuco", Walk through the colonial city and the old streets, Casino in the hotel
"Jaragua" and
then the disco. Included are drinks in the bus, dinner, entrance and one drink at the disco.

 Los Haitises
($65US/person)
This trip takes east to San Pedro de Marcois where you will head north through large sugarcane plantations and
orange, cacao, and coffee fields. In about two hours you arrive at Sabana de la Mar, where you board a boat that will carry you through magnificent mangroves. You will visit the caves once inhabited by
Tainos. This natural reserve, unique in the Caribbean, has to be seen by all visitors
who are interested in the history, the flora and especially in the natural beauty of this
region.
You will have time to enjoy a beautiful and a special lunch under the coconut
trees.On you jouney
back, you will make a short visit to a typical Dominican family which produces coffee and
cocao.
